I had an umbilical hernia repaired in December 2013. Recently I've been having an itching sensation where the mesh is. I've also felt some pain when bending over and the right side feels hard compared to the left. Is this a problem with the mesh or could it be a new hernia? I had pain from my hernia for over a year after the surgery and still have pain when my belly button is touched just right.
