I had back surgery 3 weeks ago, but about 1 week ago i noticed a rash on my forearms that really itched. I thought maybe it was from the meds from back surgery. I had been taking taking codeine, flexeril, and gabapentin but had already stopped taking these meds when the rash appeared. Then that rash went away but my fingers tips have been very sensitive and my skin is peeling off. it looks really weird- much like my fingers have been in water too long -they look prunish. I also have very dry skin/flaky skin on my inner thigh of both legs. it doesnt itch or anything but has a rough texture and skin is flaky.
