I had c diff. They put me on metronidazole for 10 days but tested positive. After 2 rounds of vancomycin I have tested negative with two stool tests. I am a 59 year old female haven't been on an antibiotic for many years and haven't been in the hospital. My question is: I still have many bowel movements in the morning some very soft and some very loose. Still having abdominal cramping and backaches. Last test was on Tuesday of this week that tested negative. Blood test yesterday checking my pancreatic enzymes came back normal. How long does this take to feel sort of normal again. I realize it hasn't been too long since I had my first negative test. June 1st and second one was negative on 6-7th. Thank you so much. I am normally such a healthy person
