Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had colon cancer in 2012. they removed over 24 inches of my colon in two places. Everything went well until January when I started having strange looking stools. they are often diarreha and never nice one or two long sections. They are lots of little pieces and I go much more frequenctly then I did for the first five years. I read that you can have short colon syndrome. Have you heard of that? should I be concern?? My primary doctor has sent my stools to the lab and the report said they were okay. I am not loosing weight, but am concerned about the kind of stools I have been experiencing.
