I Had High BP 160/100, Doctor Advised Betablocker 5mg Biosporal

I had high BP 160/100, doctor advised Betablocker 5mg biosporal to reduce BP. In ECG, it was found out left ventricular muscles are more developed that indicated longstanding situation.
Now after 1month of betablocker use, next ECG results had RBBB findings. Is this correct as betablocker will slow heartbeats down already?
