I Had Major Knee Surgery (not TKR) Three Weeks Ago

I had major knee surgery (not TKR) three weeks ago and stitches are still in place on one wound. The orthopedic surgeon had to cut partially into the tibia and lift it up to alleviate the knee cap's pressure on cartilage. New cartilage was also added. I am still on regular 5 mg Roxicodone regimen every 6 hours for pain relief. Negative side effects are grogginess and nausea. I'd like to try a dry, far infrared sauna to help with relaxation and pain relief. Is it advisable at this point? Will it help with the medication side effects? Will it counteract the pain meds? Can it help with skin healing around the wounds? And, can it help improve the muscle of the quadriceps, which needs to strengthen in order for me to get the leg brace removed? Thank you.
