I Had Surgery Last Friday To Replace A Catheter That

I had surgery last Friday to replace a catheter that runs my pain pump for my lower back which I've had 5surgeries on and have failed back syndrome with chronic pain. The Doctor moved the catheter up a little higher in my spinal area near T 10 to reduce the numbing in my bowel and bladder area. He also packed some medicine in my abdomen to numb the abdominal area to help with the pain.. This resulted in me not being able to urinate for 14 hrs. And have a bowel movement for even longer. After taking laxative etc. everything was certainly working properly again. Except now I'm back to having trouble urinating again. Any reason for that to still be taking place ?
