I had surgery recently............Diverticulitis, abscess, purferated colon and a hole...........They also removed 10 inches . I did not have a colostomy pouch after. I was lucky.........After I was discharged I did loose weight. Maybe because I was on a liquid diet for a week..........I did go back to my normal eating after.....and I noticed 9 pounds came with that choice..........What can I do to decrease the weight. I have tried to do food combination......Protein with veggies and carbs with veggies, fruit by itself.........I hope it helps
