I Had Two Wisdom Teeth Removed Over 9 Days Ago,

I had two wisdom teeth removed over 9 days ago, prior to having them removed I was suffering continuous pain with the lower tooth. I thought I had an abcess, I was messing around with the kids and she jumped up and caught be just beneath my jaw. I'd been experiencing pain for a few days previous but something popped. Since then there's been this acrid yellowish pus coming around the outside of my wisdom tooth. I was given antibiotics but the pus, taste and smell never abated. I returned to the dental clinic several times before being booked in for extraction. The extraction was straight forward, I was literally in the chair no less than fifteen minutes. That's when the problems started. By the time the anesthetic wore off by the night I was crying in excruciating pain, on returning to the dental hospital I was informed I had a dry socket. It was packed with this medicated packing that stunk of cloves and for the day it worked, the pain subsided and I felt normal. However, the pussy taste and smell have not gone. I was rushed back to the dental clinic a few days after the extraction in pain and told I had an infection but due to the lack of blood flow to the area I couldn't have antibiotics. I was given two options, either deal with the packing I had in or I could be anaesthetised again and have the packing removed the hole flushed and repacked. I opted for the former as I was already in so much pain I couldn't bare the thought of another needle in my mouth. That night it got worse, I was rushed into A&E where after waiting for over five hours I got to see the facial doctor whom was a trained dentist. Both he and the nurse whom had examined my mouth said I had an infection, the old packing was taken out the wound flushed and repacked far better than the first time. I've had no pain since just an achey jaw but the smell hasn't abated. I've been brushing, rinsing with salt water and using the string mouthwash they gave me at the dental hospital. It literally smells like rotting or decaying meat, nothing I do helps. I can brush my teeth and mouthwash and within and few minutes the smell and rancid taste is back. I'm scared to go back to the dental hospital as they keep saying I'm fine. I don't feel fine and my mouth certainly doesn't either. Having trawled the Internet for information I've stressed myself out with the possibilities of what it could be. Please help.
