I Have 12 Yrs Of Heart And Back Problem With 9 Back Surgeries (L & C) And 4 Bypass Aorta Rebuild What Could Cause Nausea And Sharp Right Back Shoulder Blade Pain?
I have chronic back pain w/ 9 back surgeries, both L and C levels. Quadruple bypass with aorta root rebuild. Artificial right hip. 66 yrs of age. I've been experiencing nausea lately on and off during the day. Right side chest pain - sharp on and off. Right back bone sharp pain as if pulled muscle. Back problems for 12 years. Heart disease for 12 years. Retired. Part time driver for hospital. Non drinker, non smoker. Dead spot in lung. I'm concerned of the nausea and the sharp right back shoulder blade pain.
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The sharp right shoulder blade pain at the back can be related to the muscular pain or due to cardiac causes. If the pain aggravates on deep breathing then lung related causes also need to be ruled out after proper investigations. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
