I Have Chiari Malformation. I've Been Decompressed & Had A

I have Chiari Malformation. I've been decompressed & had a laminectomy of my C-1. I suffer from lots of neurological issues & chronic pain. I have muscle spasms in my neck & shouldres. I have bacterial bone spurs in my cervical spine & a recent MRI of my complete spine showed that I have significant degenerative disc disease in my entire spine. Along with several bulging disc I have a herniated one on my right lower lumbar that is pressing on several nerves & affecting my S-1 & that nerve root as well. I also have RA. My question is that my NS ordered me epidural steroid injections, but I am not supposed to ever have a puncture to my spine for risk of a CSF leak or further damage to my brain so what are my options for pain relief without having to take norcatics?
