I have HBP treated with meds - benicar,bystolic,lasix for past 2 years -- 2 days ago the back of my hand gradually became swollen under skin between wrist and knuckles and painful to touch, warm and slightly red.I had indigestion and three days in a row have ingested baking soda and water to relieve symptoms. No sign of a insect bite but a slight scratch from indoor cat..I have iced down and taking advil (6/day) and the swelling has not gone down. Is this a blood clot or edema as I had fluid retention on the elbow a year ago. Urine last day is dark yellow and bubbly.
