I have Hasimotos and Hypothroid. I had this for about 17 years and had 1 pregnany since then. I have never been late on my period, on or off the synthroid. My husband and I are ttc. We have been trying for the past year and like clock work I have started my period. This time I am 3 days late with a negative test and barely any symptoms of being pregnant or going to start my period. My lower back hurts a bit and I been having lite cramping and pulling sensations in the lower abdomen. It never fails when I do start my period that I have ALL the symptoms. Nothing more or less.
So, what I'm trying to get at, is can my hypothyroid give a false test? Would it not let the Hcg hormone be enough to trigger the test?
I do take my medication like clock work and have my blood check when I'm suppose to.
Just trying to understand the strange experience I'm having. Very much out of the norm.
