I have Wegeners disease/granulomatosus with polyangiitis. I recently was treated with Rituxan and also had a surgical sinus biopsy June 7 which was negative for fungus or infection. I am currently on 30 mg prednisone. The last few days I have woken up with a low grade fever which goes away during the day. Ordinarily, if I have a fever, I wake up with the temperature lower, then it climbs during the day. At 7 AM my temp was 100.4 and I took 1 Tylenol. Right now at 3:30 it is 97.0. I would think the Tylenol would not still be working. But perhaps. I will check the temp later. But my question remains. Is it normal for the temp to start higher then normal then go lower than average/normal?
