I Have A 20+ Year Old VA Shunt I Do

I have a 20+ year old VA shunt I do not know make or model number and that has delayed MRI. I have not seen doctor for 20 years. I have
had two episodes of vertical rolling vision and loss of balance lasting for several hours and resolving itself without treatment. In the past this was a precurser to shunt replacement. The symptoms were severe last night and the ER did shuntogram (normal) and CT ( mild, but unconcerning enlargement of ventricles. I have MRI scheduled for Thursday. Also, each time i had periods of veering to the right and feeling unstable footing about three days prior to the vision disturbance. neurosurgeon will decide whether to see me after MRI bu i am concerned because i had these same symptoms for months before a prior diagnosis of shunt malfunction
