I Have A 3 Year Old Who Has Had What

I have a 3 year old who has had what we thought were bites on her side and under her arm, they then progressed to having puss filled centres (looks like really bad zit) then dried and blistered over but are still red a week or so later. 2 days ago she had a lace like redness on her cheek which turned into spots and now has turned into the same puss filled looking red lumps. They are a bit itchy she says. In general she is in pretty good health although she has a little bit of a dry cough (but this could be unrelated and from day care etc I dont know). The other relevant thing is that there was an outbreak of hand foot and mouth about a month ago at day care...my son had it...but it appeared my daughter did not. Not sure if this is related, the spots look a little different from my son's. Thanks for your help. Jessica
