Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a 6month old baby that just started last night with what sounds like stridor but only happens randomly not constant and noticed it last night and tonight after feeding him baby food gerber sweet potatoes last night and gerber apples tonight. Well I called the pediatrician last night and he said just to make sure everything was ok to go to ER and have him checked out. Of course when we got there he was laughing playing and was fine. We showed him video that we took and he did an X-ray to make sure everything was ok ---it was normal. Today the pediatrician wanted to see him and he said everything looked ok. Well got home and he did it again tonight on other symptoms just that high pitched random stridor sound---no coughing, no cold symptoms, he acts perfectly fine and actually plays while he does the sound. Just worried and would like some answers he has never done this before. Could it be tracheomalacia just now showing up or just a sound he learned to do??
