I Have A Bump On My Chin That I Thought

I have a bump on my chin that I thought was a pimple. Unfortunately I picked at it so it became a sore. I have had it for about 10 days and it is not healing. I can't decide if I should see my regular doctor or see a dermatologist. Should I watch it a few more days or should I get it seen asap. Thanks!
