Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a friend who has ataxia and a doctor wrote probably inherited. No one in his family has ever had ataxia. In trying to establish a claim the assuming statement made by that doctor knoced his claim out of the va system. He was very much around agent orange as it was delivered to Da Nang and distributed throuout the country. He was also in compbat where he could have been knocked backwards hitting his head. He became a heavy drinker dealing with the fear and daily threat of being killed. With these multiple factors isn't it possible, likely that his ataxia is from Viet Nam. He is housebound and can barely recognize and remember names and events. Frequent, Frequent falls. Is there any recourse? d
