I Have A Friend Who Is 80 Yrs. Old, And

I have a friend who is 80 yrs. old, and her head has dropped to her chest in the last 6 to 8 months.There is no pain just a weakness, that she can't hold her head erect. It has become worse, in the last weeks and she finds it difficult to eat and swallow, her food is ground now to aid in swallowing. She has not been diagnosed as yet but is seeing some health professionals concerning this condition, and has been referred to a neurologist. Do you have any ideas on what she may be dealing with?
