Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a gnawing pain that comes and goes right at the lower rib on my right side. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with what I'm eating; I don't think I pulled a muscle either. I have broken my rib/s on the left side with not much pressure, after an initial fall. I'm assuming the subsequent breaks/sprains on that side are due to that area having been broken before. I had one bone density test years ago. I am 64. Osteoporosis causing my ribs to just break for no reason? Gall bladder issue?
