Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a huge ulcer under my tongue. It looks like a small fluid filled balloon. Its extremely painful and also hurts to swallow. Could not eat anything but ices today. I had an unsuccessful saliendoscopy in March for salivary duct stones in my submandibular gland. The stones would not budge, the forcep piece broke off in my gland. I'm wondering if this is infection or just saliva try to get out? My tongue has been partially numb since the surgery because of all the manipulation of the lingual nerve. Should I see a doctor tomorrow or is there something I can do to get relief at home?
