Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a lump on inside of lower left rib. Doctors didn't find anything on scans. I have also been diagnosed with IBS with constipation. I am confused if I really have IBS or if the lump is something else. I have a lot of stomach cramps by it and now I started getting very inflamed throughout my body it seems whenever I eat a little too much and I don't eat much to begin with. It makes me terrified to eat more then a tiny bit at a time because it gets bad and it swells around my face and neck most. Alcohol has started to give me the same results and I usually can drink without a problem. However, I usually only have 1-2 drinks a month. I had tests done for thyroid and it came back normal. I don't know if all these symptoms are related. Lastly, the past couple days I started to get severe heartburn. I want to find out what's wrong because the stomach pain has gotten much worse. I can't lie down for more than 6 or so hours sleeping without my abdomen cramping up bad.
