I Have A Metal Plate Embedded In My Left Radial

I have a metal plate embedded in my left radial forearm bone from a surgery caused by a break when I was 12 years old. Recently I've been more into exercise and weight lifting, but whenever I try to exert this arm it feels as the bone is breaking from the inside out. Is there anyway for me to fix this?
