Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a mild case of gynecomastia - I have chronic lyme and am on multiple meds. I had a blood panel taken with my internist and haven't gotten a chance to speak with her, but the test results lead me to believe I have low test/hormonal imbalance. Pertinent results are below: Testesterone free: 49.5 in a range of 35 - 155. Test, FR(Dial) TOT, LC/MS/MS: 544 in a range of 250 - 1100 Sex hormone binding glob: 64 in a range of 10 - 50 Estrogen total: 69.5 in a range of 60 - 190 DHEA Sulfate - 130 in a range of 106 - 464 ACTH Plasma: 9 in a range of 6 - 50 I'm inclined to believe this is consistent with the mild gyno, and I have low T. Can this be addressed with my doctor?
