I Have A Nodule On My Pharyngopalatine Arch, Which Does

I have a nodule on my pharyngopalatine arch, which does not hurt on my left side. Yet my throat on the left side hurts and when I push gently down in that area from the outside with my finger it hurts more and all the way up to my ear. I also have problems swallowing. It feels like that food does get stuck in my esophagus and only goes down very slowly. I had my esophagus checked and stretched but did not help much and that was about 2 or 3 years ago. But now like I said it is even slower. Also have fever off and on through out the day at random times for no reason.
