I have a pain behind my shoulder blade, I hurt it 20 years ago playing tennis, pushing lawnmowers, chopping wood etc, it's just got worse over the years, it makes my neck stiff and sore, I get tingling in my hand and weakness. I've tried a cortisone injection, I do stretch exercises to keep everything moving but it's slow going. Recently I've been going to see a physiotherapist, I wanted to try ultrasound on my shoulder as I've never tried it before and thought it may help. My physio says it doesn't work on soft tissue and isn't keen to do it but I know people who have had this done and there's lots of info on the internet to suggest it is done, do you think it would be worth a try on the spot behind my shoulder ? It's a specific spot that's sore at the side of my shoulder blade
Thanks for any advice
Mary
