hi...i complain from osteo arthritis from 2 years ago but pain come back to me in the last days is cold application on my knees is better or hot application???? female 57 years oldand complain from osteo arthritis and i take alot of medication like dorofen and i became okay but in the last weeks my both knees hurt me so my doctor tell me to use cold application but i have no swelling so it s better or hot applicatio....plz help...
I believe you will be more benefited using warm applications than cold. In osteoarthritis, the muscles also are strained because of the lack of smooth, frictionless gliding surfaces. And i would suggest u keep a diary to note whenever u take a pain killer - if u have been taking too many pain killers for too long, may be it is time u considered replacement surgery for ur knee!
