Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a pt that has an indwelling catheter for 8 months. I change it every 30days per protocol. REcently, urine has been leaking out from catheter around penis. I changed the catheter & immediately got milky looking but thin in consistancy urine bag in collection tubing. No sediment noted until next day. No leaking until next day. No fever. Why do you think catheter is leaking? maybe sphincter is flaccid? & why do you think the urine is milky looking?
