Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a seroma as the result of a hernia repair on my midline. I have had it for about a year and a half. It hasn't changed and doesn't really bother me. I recently went back to my surgeon to find out what my options are. I had it aspirated, it filled back up by the time I went to bed. my surgeon said he could remove it. What are the chances it will return, since it formed because of a void left by the repair of the hernia. There will be another void after this seroma is removed. Is it worth it? And what is involved in the surgery.
