I have a skin rash on my shoulders and chest. It appeared several days ago. There are red splotches here and there not much larger than a common pencil eraser. It does not itch as a whole only a few isolated spots.
At first I thought it might be an allergy to a shampoo but I stopped using it and it has not improved the rash. There is nothing in my daily routine that has changed that I can think of that might trigger this type of reaction and it appeared to come on slowly spreading from chest to shoulders. It however in the last couple of days does not appear to be spreading.
I have put hydrocortizone on it and it only mildly seems to lessen the red. Could this be some kind of fungus? Could this be due to some kind of spider bite?
