I have a spondi at L5/S1 made more severe in a car accident. until recently, the pain I experience has been confined to that low back area - but recently the pain is traveling down into the buttock & upper back thigh nregion. Could this be the progression of damage or inflamation of the psiatic nerve? Fusion has been mentioned by some doctors I have seen prior to this new area of pain,
