Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have an enlarged lymph node on the right side of my neck that is horribly painful. I recently got over a cold (2 days ago). Nothing seems to help it- I've tried Tylenol, ibuprofen, sore throat lozenges & Popsicles. Also this has happened with the last 3 colds I've had (the same lymph node on the right side of my neck) and the last time it lasted about 2 weeks of pain. Is this normal? Should I go somewhere to be seen? Is there any thing else I can try? This is very painful... Thanks.
