I have an infection In my gums above a tooth that has had a root canal and crown four years ago! It just started hurting out the blue and I'm on my second day of antibiotics..I started them yesterday morning and now it's night time of day two and my face has swollen by my nose and under my eye. I m taking 875 amox and I went to the doctor tonight and got an injection of rocephin and it's hours later and the swelling has gotten a little worse making my lip puffy too on that side. Is this normal or shouldn't it be getting better now???
