I have an off bite. About a year ago I had 3 cavities filled on left side. I've have throbbing pain off and on since. I went to a different dentist after 3 months of off and on discomfort. Ex rays were done and he said there was nothing wrong with teeth. My bite has shifted and my last 3 top teeth left side 13-15 we're the only teeth making contact in whole mouth. Braces is only option. I used mouth guard for a few nights pain went away. 2 weeks ago I had excruciating pain in the 3 teeth are and a swollen roof of mouth near those 3 teeth. I went to Dr. As I didn't think dental related. She proscribed predisone and Tylenol 3 and sent me to dentist. Went to dentist next day and he said swelling was minimal and exrays showed nothing wrong. Referred me to pariodontic. They can't get me in til August 27th. I continued the predisone and pain went away. Sunday Aug 2nd the pain came back for about 3 hrs. I took ibuprofen and held ice in roof for about an hr. Went away. Yesterday about 6pm it came back and has nit gone away. I have glossed regularly brushed 3x a day I tried ibuprofen, Tylenol 3 and 750 mg vicodine. Ice on inside of mouth as well as outside. Throbbing pain and when I touch roof it is warm to touch and very painful. Teeth on left side all hurt. Any help is appriciated!
