I Have Been Bleeding Abnormally For Over A Week Now.

I have been bleeding abnormally for over a week now. I am not supposed to have my period until the 20th, and I started bleeding on thursday the 6th. I was getting lighter but today I started to bleed really heavy again. Do I need to go to urgent care? Emergency or should I wait to see if I can make an appointment which most likely will be a week to two weeks out?
