I Have Been Diagnosed With Multi-level Lumbar Spondylosis, Mod-Severe B/L

I have been diagnosed with Multi-level Lumbar Spondylosis, Mod-Severe B/L Neural Foraminal Narrowing at L5-S1. At times I have been unable to walk due to the pain and diminished sensation Lle. I have tried epidurals, pain meds, and physical therapy with no real relief. What would be the next step to correct this problem? I am being referred to a neural surgeon but is this the right next step?
