I have been diagnosed with diverticulitis, the em Dr prescribed two medications, both 500 mg twice a day. #1 metronidazole and #2 is ciprofloxacin. Should these two drugs be taken together with both having such serious side effects? Thank you. Sincerely, Cathryne
