I Have Been Diagnosed With Ductile Carcinoma Sidu Few Tiny

I have been diagnosed with ductile carcinoma sidu few tiny microcalcifications no tumor at all no where else in either breasts. Don't smoke no breast cancer in family and I'm 53. They suggest lumpectomy size of golf ball maybe 12 o'clock position above nipple. They say maybe radiation but I really don't want to do that. Is it really a necessary thing?? I questioned Dr. I asked if I don't do radiation what are my chances of being cured he said 95-98% I'm scared out of my mind it is consuming me.
