I Have Been Diagnosed With Severe Cervical Stenosis And Have

I have been diagnosed with severe cervical stenosis and have surgery scheduled. I also have mild to moderate in my thoracic and lumbar spine which the neurosurgeon has evaluate along with degenerative disc disease. I have numerous inguinal lymph nodes bilateral that are enlarged. An ultrasound was done and at this point it says they appear to be reactive, no suspicious characteristics, and fatty hila. They do not go down. I had shingles on my right buttock in October. Could these nodes be swollen from shingles in that area, or from the spinal stenosis or should I press my doctor for a biopsy?
