I Have Been Doing A Standing Job For Three Years.

I have been doing a standing job for three years. My knees and and ankles have started paining. This time I flew overseas from canada in August and had severe swelling in my ankles and legs that lasted for 4 weeks till I came back day before. Swelling is almost over but there is tenderness n pain on top of my feet and pain n stiffness even after resting for five days. Have dipped my feet in hot water too.
When I stand swelling returns slightly n pain radiates to my toes and the knees. Visited a walk in clinic and doc did not examine but said it would be fine and was tendonz it's.
I have a burning sensation and slight varicose veins behind my left knee which did swell earlier too. Discomfort in same leg is more now too. My blood work was done before I travelled coz I had pain in feet n legs but seems to be fine. However, bone density shows significant mineral loss as compared to same done two yrs back. Am 54 and am menopausal now As per reports.
Pl advise if I need to take precaution or bear the pain as the doc has asked me to do.
