I have been experiencing swollen ankles on/off again for past year. My family dr gave me a script to take to reduce fluid retention (when my ankles swell, I can push in on ankle with finger and skin holds the impression for sometime). In the past few days I have had a lot of lower back pain (kidney area) and have had to take medication more frequently than in past.
Am I over reacting or could it be more than just water retention?
