I Have Been Getting Spots On My Vision That Look

I have been getting spots on my vision that look like waffles. It happens before lunch. If I don't eat, I get dizzy. I called my doctor and he had me do bloodworm for diabetes. I saw him and I don't have diabetes. I asked him why do I have these symptoms then? His nurse said, why don't you eat? I checked on line for Hypoglycemia and it said have some sugar food followed by protein such as peanuts. I did that and it seems to ward off my dizziness. Now, however, I get numb tongue. My blood pressure is normal 130's over 70's and I'm 71 years old. I am a vegetarian but take B-12. What do you think?
