I Have Been Having Abdominal Pain For Almost Three Months,

I have been having abdominal pain for almost three months, coming and going (hoping it’s just a pulled rib muscle that’s taking a while to heal). I’ve also been TTC for almost two years. And I’m a childhood cancer survivor. I’ve had quite a few abdominal and chest CT scans while going through treatment a little over 10 years ago. My ovaries have suffered damage with chemotherapy and is leading me to seek fertility treatment. I saw my oncologist a few weeks ago, and she ordered a blood panel and checked my liver with ultrasound (trying to avoid another CT scan). Both results were perfect. I went to family dr today bc pain is persistent and I need the assurance that it is nothing serious. Dr scheduled CT scan w contrast of abdominal region two days from now (which is also date I should be ovulating). If I go through with scan, should I avoid TTC rest of the month? What effect will this scan have on my ovaries and existing eggs? Since they are already fragile, will having this scan cause more harm than good?
