I have been having dull achy headaches for 2+ weeks. I have been taking 5-10 ibuprofen a day almost every day. Some days I would take my prescribed Imitrex, but mostly ibuprofen. I hit my hand 2 days ago and bruised terribly and went to my doctor. Obviously he has taken me off the ibuprofen, and increased my Metoprolol(I take for afib) in hopes it will ward off the headaches. Today it occured to me that the headaches seem to start around my upper jaw bone so I was thinking perhaps a tooth problem? then I just took a shower and when washing realized the side of my neck(same side as headache) is tender to the touch-about the area to take a pulse. Any suggestions?
