Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been in pain management for 10 years, due to several medical conditions. I was recently divorced and lost my insurance, at the time I was on oxycodone but since I lost my insurance they have put me on methadone I take 10mg tablets 4 times a day among other medications for my heart and aniexty. I now have the medical card but it doesn't cover pain doctors. So every month I have to pay 250.00 out of pocket I am a single mother of a 8 year old and live in section 8 housing because my husband took off and because of my disabilities I am only able to work part time. doctors treat me like a drug addict because im on methadone and it seems like they do anything to get rid of you, when they put me on it in the first place.
