I have been informed that my L4 or L5 disc is severely impinging on the spine causing spinal stenosis. While surgery isn"t an immediate recommendation it is possible the situation could develop to the point emergency surgery could be required as a result of a loss of bladder and bowel control. I don't recall the name for this condition that causes groin numbness ans loss of control.. I believe some form of the word saddle was in the name???????
