I Have Been On Arimidex For Almost 4 Years. I'm

I have been on Arimidex for almost 4 years. I'm going to go to a new oncologist this week and wanted to know if I ought to be truthful with him about the side effects that I'm having on this medication or if I should endure the joint pain and hot flashes that have invaded my daily life and just remain silent about the impact it has on my life. I am trying to stay tough, but am fading as the years go by. I am weary of the ongoing sporadic joint pain, it's not constant pain other then in my knees, but when it hits, it restricts my activities. I am 55 years old. Instructed Aerobics for 26 years, have always been physically active. I am not a person who sits for long periods of time, I am active and have always been physically active. Since my cancer diagnosis in January of 2013, I've had a breast biopsy, lumpectomy, 38 radiation treatments. I realize I could feel & be much worse. I am fortunate, because they found my cancer early I had stage 1, size of a pin head, estrogen fed breast cancer. I was on Tamoxifen for 1 year, then my oncologist switched me to Arimidex. I don't feel as bad as I use to, but I don't feel that whippy and am just trying to ride out the pain till I can get off of this medication. I'm afraid they'll want me to continue taking it for another 5 years.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thank you.
