I have been on Ativan for almost 9 months intermittently. I don't take it every day and my concern is what it will be like to get off of it. I know it can be addictive. I was prescribed this due to the sudden death of my husband in Feb 2016. I did not start taking it until...I believe it was May. A 30 day prescription has lasted me as much as 60 days since I have good days where I do not need it. Lately I feel like I need it more since I am now dealing with his first birthday since passing and the anniversary in February. Any tips on how to not feel the anxiety when I am not taking Ativan?
