I have been on adderall 30mg tablet BID for approximately 2 years now. I am a otherwise healthy 34 year old, Caucasian female. Probably the last 6 months I had several areas on the scalp that had thicker dry scales/dandruff which I have never experienced. Went to the Primary Care MD and was prescribed a steroid oil=ineffective and then to a steroid foam which cleared the dryness but now have dried scabs/old lesions in those areas. Went to the dermatologist, collected a punch biopsy of the scalp which also included stitches :/ well what do you know the area collected contained too much of the scab and results were inconclusive. Being a Neuro ICU Nurse not ideally the thing I wanted to hear, but MD said they were tested for also Lupus of the skin since the skin scraping was negative for fungus. Needless to say, I can only contribute this reaction to the adderall. Any thoughts?
